Under this Wave

Makes sense to think and analyze dreams of recent times, looking at a world that has been changing quite rapidly, drastically, it’s very easy to look at dreams (especially recurring dreams) and look at them through the scope of the world and collective anxiety of today. in the past six months I have had continuous dreams involving waves. The following is the first dream to jump out at me on this.

July 19th. 2020

Started off in a dark room, waking up from a hangover or just a rough night. I woke to find myself in this strange building in the middle of the ocean, a kind of luxurious compound, with all kinds of state of the art technology and design. think of a titan of industry buying an oil rig to fly off to as a private hotel, with servants quarters, and game rooms; anyways, I beautiful yet dimly lit modern castle in the waves. I stood in this compound and walked around a bit, to shadows of people I cooked food in for myself and continued to walk all these narrow hallways.

I continued to walk until I stopped at the first sign of light, finally, I approached this walkway leading to a large bay window, where you could see the ocean, quite close up, almost touching and splashing on the glass. I started to notice the red sky and the dark clouds approaching, I noticed the dark waters moving more rapidly and… decisively (as in targeting the structure?). but I must mention the other companion, I understand this part can be too cute and corny, but there was this girl (there’s always one in these dreams of waves). she was blonde and quite beautiful, she stood next to the window in a bikini, with the sun of the sunset pointed now, as I look at her, spotlighting her, glowing her skin gold and bronze, sparkling blue and green eyes and her/// anyways. An impossibly beautiful woman.

The waves are dark, and only carry the colors of its deep dark water and the shine of red and orange sky; the storm got closer and the rig moved with it, and she stood still, looking at me with an unwavering look and a subtle smile. She was a surfer, and she was beautiful.
